Cubby Club

Cubbyclub meets on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings (10am-12pm). We are a group of parents and children (before school age) who meet to play and chat during the school terms. Mums, dads, grandparents and carers are welcome. Playgroup is a wonderful place for your child to get used to playing with other children, and for parents to build friendships that are so helpful and supportive in this stage of life.

The mornings follow a regular pattern: Playing inside and outside with our toys and equipment (puzzles, lego, blocks, cars, dressups, trains, dollshouse etc), as well as art and craft, and playdough. We pack these areas up about 11.15am, and then enjoy some music and stories while the children eat their morning tea/lunch. As we are all busy with our families, we share the setting up, morning tea, music and story and other tasks on a roster basis.

preschool

Morning tea is provided for the parents, and we have some fabulous grannies/grandpas from St Stephens who are ready and willing to lend a hand, and have a chat. Each term we have an outing; previously we have been on bus and train rides, days at the park or out on a property. We love to make something of the real meaning of Easter and Christmas too. We also plan evenings out for the parents (without the kids); often involving yummy food or craft.
