  We've been here for over 130 years..

In the beginning, God created the universe. And he made people. Everything was perfect. Until people mucked up, and disobeyed him. The punishment for this was death.

2,000 years ago, God sent his Son Jesus into the world as an average human. He lived a perfect life, and then died on a cross and alive again. By doing this, he took our punishment, meaning we can live forever with him in heaven. All we have to do is to put our faith in him.

 130 years ago, an Anglican Church was formed in the town of Mittagong, and people began to meet, reading the bible, singing praises to Jesus and telling people the good news, as people had done ever since the time of Jesus.

Today, Mittagong Anglican Church is still a group of people living for Jesus and sharing his good news with Mittagong and beyond. We have the bible as our authority, and are part of the Anglican Diocese of Sydney. Through many services and ministries, we aim to Know Christ, Grow In Christ and Show Christ To The World.
