Mittagong Anglican Church

MU Australia is part of the World Wide Mothers Union, an international organization, which has a membership of three and one half million people in seventy six countries. In Australia there are about ten thousand members with members in every diocese.

Our Mission Statement says we are about Sharing Christs love by encouraging, strengthening and supporting marriage and family life. If possible, members meet together regularly to pray and study the bible, to encourage one another to serve in our parish and beyond. Members actively involve themselves in all sorts of pastoral care: visiting maternity patients in hospital, court ministries, prayer groups, the MU Australia Parenting Education Program, childrens ministries and financial and prayer support for families facing all sorts of difficulties both in Australia and in developing countries.

In Mittagong we meet on a monthly basis on the second Wednesday of the month at 10am. Usually we have morning tea together pray and participate in learning ways in which we can grow in Godliness and serve Jesus in our time and context.

Meetings are held at the St Stephens Christian Education Centre and a warm welcome is extended to anyone who would want to be involved in ministry with us.
