Each of our four Sunday church services have their own distinct flavour, but all of them involve singing, prayer, refreshments, Bible readings and a Bible talk. We would love you to join us this Sunday.
8am is our most traditional service, with Holy Communion each week, robed clergy and hymns and songs played on our 150-year old pipe organ. Held in the heritage church building, this gathering is followed by morning tea and while many who attend are seniors, all are welcome.
9.30am Contemporary Family
9.30am church is our largest service, with over 120 adults and children gathering in our auditorium each week. Our band lead us in singing contemporary Christian songs, and we have a short all-age talk during the first part of the service. During the sermon, preschool and primary kids go to their SundayKids groups for games, craft and Bible studies. A creche and cry room are also available, and morning tea is served in the hall after the service.
Our 11am service has a mix of traditional and more contemporary styles, and is held in our heritage church building. We sing hymns and songs accompanied by piano and guitar, and Holy Communion is celebrated twice a month. This service is followed by afternoon tea and once each month we share lunch together.
5pm church is our smaller contemporary gathering, held in the auditorium. Many of our young adults and youth attend this service, but all are welcome, and a SundayKids program runs each week during the sermon. This service is followed by supper and occasionally we share dinner together.
